Angela Rose Myers- is the President of the Minneapolis NAACP and Research Assistant to the Director of the Roy Wilkins Center for Human Relations and Social Justice. She is a recent graduate of Columbia University where she majored in Africana Studies and Women, Gender, Sexuality studies. After graduating from college, she returned home to the Twin Cities and became involved in the NAACP. As a social justice advocate, organizer and researcher, Angela’s goals are to create bridges between grassroots organizing and public policy to address the needs of the everyday Black Community members.
